Luti Fagbenle is a pioneering entrepreneur and award-winning executive producer with a track record across many sectors of the entertainment industry, including music, advertising, theatre, and television.

His career began on stage in the West End, where he played Simba in The Lion King, and then transitioned to screen, starring as a series regular in the UK soap Hollyoaks. In 2006, he launched his first production company, Luti Media, which rose to acclaim by producing music videos, commercials, and branded content.

Luti’s work broke records for the most views in 24 hours and the most YouTube views of the year. He left an indelible mark on pop culture, collaborating with superstars including Beyoncé, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Jay-Z, and Kanye West. Luti Media executed campaigns for some of the most recognisable brands, including Google, HSBC, and Nike. In film, Luti produced the BAFTA-nominated Mixtape. In theatre, Luti Media was responsible for the Olivier Award-winning Misty, which transferred to the West End. His work in fashion, for brands including Alexander Wang, AllSaints, and Anya Hindmarch, has been featured in Vogue numerous times.

Luti’s television producing career began with the BAFTA-nominated Dynamo: Magician Impossible (UKTV) before launching a string of successful TV series under the Luti Media banner. In 2020, Luti Media launched its debut comedy series Maxxx (Channel 4/Hulu), written by and starring O-T Fagbenle. The show, which featured Christopher Meloni, Jonathan Ross, and Jourdan Dunn, was nominated for an RTS award. Luti Media’s debut reality TV series, Highlife (Channel 4/Discovery+), was the first Black British reality TV series and trended number 1 on Twitter. In drama, Luti Media produced the action-drama series Robyn Hood (Corus/Global), created by Director X. In 2023, Luti’s hit reality TV series, Blue Therapy (Channel 4/Amazon/BET+), went viral, sparking a huge online debate regarding relationships and gender roles. Luti’s latest venture, the Osun Group, has announced new releases, including White Man Walking (BBC Storyville) and Blue Therapy for Netflix.
